Tonight I saw the premier of the new movie produced by the snowboard company, Burton titled 13. It showcased the world’s top riders at the most beautiful locations around the globe, including Whistler, Alaska, Lake Tahoe, Northstar, Heavenly, Sun Valley, and Europe.  It was awesome!

The movie made me think that if I go skiing, I need to look pretty cool on the slopes. Turns out Burton sells their ski and snowboard clothes online and they have a store in soho. Definitely take a peek if you are going skiing. The fab fashion of a snowboarder is pretty rad.

I want to give a shout out and congratulate the film's stars, Burton pro snowboarders Danny Davis, Mikkel Bang, John Jackson, Mark Sollors, Mikey Rencz, Jussi Oksanen, Terje Haakonsen, Jeremy Jones, Zak Hale, Ethan Deiss, Seppe Smits, Peetu Piiroinen, and more. 13 will drop at video premieres, and on DVD and iTunes this coming fall. It was definitely fun to watch & see some cool outfits on this hip crew.

New York Fashion Week SS 2013 :: DKNY

DKNY, Donna Karan New York reflected all of the personalities of New York City on this year's runway.  We saw ready-to-wear looks with jeans, accessories and shoes. The colors represented all of New York in black, white, neutrals and even some taxi yellow.  The spring 2013 line put a smile on my face, as it is obvious the brand is born and inspired by life in the city. Prints were a common theme among the fash packs arriving at center stage at Lincoln Center. So refreshing from NY monochrome uniforms! Take cue from these experts and keep the accessories simple and to a minimum. xxj

Printed jeans are among Fall 2012's hottest trends. I sported the look on Thursday for Fashion's Night Out at Saks. Printed jeans are going to be everywhere once the weather gets cooler and the bolder the better! These are a perfect night time look and since it's fall, I would opt for darker shades. Throw on a great pair of heels or booties and keep the top classic and you'll be ready to rock. I must admit, I'm glad that they are back for another season because they are so hot!  xo, 5th

New York Fashion Week SS 2013 :: Mara Hoffman

Mara Hoffman brought down the house Saturday with a kaleidoscope of her signature prints and electrifying color. The inspiration of the collection was based on the spirit of island culture and was so  so magnetic that you could almost feel the ocean breeze and smell the coconuts. We are huge fans of Mara's creative genius and can't wait to get a hold of these dresses next summer! xxj
