If you are looking for a fun read definitely pick up
The Dinner Party. The protagonist Lainie Silver lives in NYC, is twenty-eight, beautiful, smart and always picking the wrong guy. Lainie tends to be hard on herself and others and now carries heavy guilt for sleeping with her best friend's husband after an intense dinner party. You walk through Lainie's rumination, but she finally finds her way with the help of her therapist, her mother and a reflection that no one is perfect. I read the entire book in two days! It was suspenseful, relatable and forces you to think about finding your own happiness.
