ChargerGenie, The World’s First Charging Tote Bag, Launches Today on Indiegogo.com
Check this gadget out! TakeCharger LLC today announced the launch of ChargerGenie, the world’s first tote bag featuring a built-in power strip, which can charge up to eight devices at a time. ChargerGenie debuts today on Indiegogo, where it is available for 60 days at a reduced price of $39 each.
“As a traveling technology executive and a busy mom, I always had trouble finding enough outlets in airports and hotel rooms to charge multiple devices,” said Jeannie DeSanctis, the inventor of ChargerGenie and CEO of TakeCharger. “With ChargerGenie, I created a bag and power strip combo that solves this problem and more. It not only charges multiple devices on the go, it also organizes and stores them, creating a low-tech solution for today’s high-tech lifestyles.”
ChargerGenie, which is currently available in three colors (black, red or pink cheetah), looks like a fashion tote but features a “secret weapon” -- six power outlets and two USB ports distributed around the lower perimeter of the bag. In the base of the bag, there is a cord that powers ChargerGenie and can be stored inside when not in use.
Additional benefits of ChargerGenie include:
· No More Lost Chargers: Saves money by eliminating the problem of lost chargers, which are frequently left behind in hotel rooms and on the road.
· Easy Grab-and-Go Travel: Fits over the handle of most rolling suitcases and packs easily into any travel bag.
· Reduce Clutter: Improves organization by keeping chargers and accessories neatly stored inside ChargerGenie.
ChargerGenie organizes, stores and charges devices and their respective chargers like: mobile phones; tablets and eReaders like iPad Mini and Kindle; iPod devices; Bluetooth headsets; earbuds; headphones, SD Memory cards, personal gaming devices such as PSP, Leapfrog, Nintendo; and more in one convenient place. ChargerGenie can also power and fully charge any size laptop.
