Our insider's guide to our favorite places in the city and pieces everyone should own!
Shine by Colle Products
Check out this luxury jewelry cleaner mousse. It is easy to use, a 3 oz can is only $16 and it is completely green. We all have so many pieces of jewelry and they do get dirty if you wear them often. This mousse took 5 mins to make my jewels shine again.
Bib + Tuck
We are having a lot of fun with this members-only online community for women to trade fashion items. You can trade your once-worn Manolo's and score last season's Balenciaga bag. The concept is pretty neat and it keeps you out of the second hand stores. How it works? Members shoot photos of pieces that they are ready to let go, upload them to their site, and use credits from their sales to purchase other items. Yep, it's like refreshing your wardrobe without breaking the bank.
Yamak NY
Yamak is an online and offline boutique store in the West Village & Chelsea that carries amazing pieces including dresses, blouses, jewelry & accessories. They have a lot of silk tops for great prices. J & I had a blast trying on everything in the store and we were so happy with our purchases. Highly recommend a drop by if you are in the area.
Electric Picks
You can't help, but love these rockin roll modern bracelets. Prices range from $38 to $85.
HipChikCouture
The designer Andrea Rosenberg creates beautiful beaded necklaces & bracelets with Buddha, skulls and flower charms. We fell in love with them when we first saw her pieces at the Jennifer Miller store in East Hampton. The price range for the necklaces are $275 to $305.
Barry's Boot camp
135 West 20th st.
If you want to get a terrific work out, go to Barry's. It is a mix between cardio & strength training and you leave feeling fab. You can pay per class ($32), so do not have to make a long term commitment.
