I don't know about you, but this day-to-day extreme flux in weather is driving me crazy! I'm ready to dress for spring but the forty degree weather is not helping. I had a full day of errands ahead of me so I knew I had to dress with warmth in mind. I decided to break out my favorite white jeans and throw a fur jacket under my Parka. IMHO, I pulled off the perfect winter to spring transition ensemble!

If you are looking for a fun read definitely pick up The Dinner Party. The protagonist Lainie Silver lives in NYC, is twenty-eight, beautiful, smart and always picking the wrong guy.  Lainie tends to be hard on herself and others and now carries heavy guilt for sleeping with her best friend's husband after an intense dinner party. You walk through Lainie's rumination, but she finally finds her way with the help of her therapist, her mother and a reflection that no one is perfect. I read the entire book in two days! It was suspenseful, relatable and forces you to think about finding your own happiness.

Easter Break

My family and I headed to South Beach, Miami for my son's spring break. We visited the beach, pool, Parrot Island, did a bike ride on the boardwalk along Ocean Drive and had yummy dinners on Lincoln road. South Beach can be a lot of fun for kids if you know the right spots. Take the zoo at Parrot Island. The shuttle picks you up at the Loews hotel and drops you right in front. It's a perfect few hours with your little ones. Dinners on Lincoln road are great because there are no cars and it is closed off to traffic. The kids can run around and you don't have to worry! Lastly, Miami has rental bikes on every corner, so you can take a nice ride with your family. When they get tired you just drop the bike off at any bike station. So don't rule out Miami on your next vacation! Happy Holiday!
